A limited edition charm, designed by Catbird, inspired by the world of Vito Giallo — 93 year old artist, antiques dealer, and quintessential New Yorker. Made in our Brooklyn studio with 100% recycled 14k gold and blue topaz.
Ludwig Bemelmans was an artist and writer who painted the murals under which Vito would have a nightly martini after he closed up his shop at 966 Madison Avenue — just across the street from the Bemelmans Bar in the Carlyle Hotel.
In honor of our collaboration with Vito, the Catbird Giving Fund is proud to have made a donation of $40,000 to SAGE, a national advocacy and services organization in their mission to look out for LGBTQ+ elders.
